Unroasted Indian Monsoon Malabar coffee is a pale yellow color and much larger than a normal sized coffee bean. Although it may appear strange, the unusual color and size is due to a “monsooning” process. This process is carried out in warehouses where the coffee is sprayed with water and blasted with wind to mimic the environment of the hull of cargo ship.

Fresh Roasted Coffee
The Fresh Roasted Coffee process begins at the source. Our coffees are chosen and established with great love and greater yet – consideration of origin, flavor profile and quality. All of these components help us to deliver consistent, exceptional coffee with true approachability.
Coffee has four age old enemies; heat, light, air and moisture. The way coffee is stored is essential to keeping it fresh and ready to enjoy. Storing coffee in conditions that expose it to these elements will allow for the coffee to lose its flavor rapidly. Coffee should be stored in an airtight container. We suggest either a glass, metal or ceramic version. Coffee should not be stored in the freezer, contrary to popular belief, as it leads to moisture extracting the flavor of the coffee. Coffee beans are porous and will also absorb unwanted flavors from your freezer.
What Is In My Coffee?
100% roasted Arabica coffee beans, no additives, artificial flavors or preservatives.
Our approach to the Fresh Roasted Coffee process begins at the source. We procure our coffees with the utmost care and integrity, seeking to find high quality specialty coffees that help reinforce our core value of sustainability, while also supporting regions all over the world that are actively working to enhance their own livelihoods and the specialty coffee industry.
Fresh Roasted Coffee roasts the freshest coffee beans using the most advanced technology on earth. We have eliminated our carbon emissions by up to 80% in a smokeless coffee roasting environment. Our Loring Smart Roaster uses cutting-edge roasting technology to not only eliminate carbon emissions, but also enhance overall coffee bean flavor, quality and roasting precision. Loring roasters are proudly made in the USA.
Our coffee beans are roasted fresh, immediately packaged and shipped. We want our customers to experience fresh coffee at its peak drinkability. In order to keep our coffee as fresh as possible for as long as possible, our single-serve coffee pods are filled using nitrogen insufflation to avoid exposing the freshly ground coffee to flavor-stealing oxygen.
The Fresh Roasted Coffee process reaches completion when you truly taste a coffee’s origin…and nothing extra. We’re passionate about our work and are dedicated to providing our customers with the highest quality coffee on earth. We’re also committed to the next generation of coffee drinkers. We proudly roast Direct Trade, Fair Trade, Rainforest Alliance, and USDA Organic certified coffees.
